I received a call today, the 12th of September, 2018, and it was nothing but a recorded message that claimed to be from her regarding some sort of arrest warrant. Absolute nonsense! Such vile behaviour from these scammers.

Received a rather ominous call last Friday, followed by another one just yesterday, both linking to an arrest warrant. I'm intrigued to see how this all unfolds—bring on the authorities!

Absolutely, there's been some chatter about HMRC issuing arrest warrants, and my mum was instructed to call 016031884120 for more details. Just a word of caution, folks! Stay alert.

I've just had a call from the same number and decided to leave it unanswered. It seems like they were either trying to reach me directly or requesting that I return the call to 08000418108.

Like many, I received an automated call claiming to be from HMRC, instructing me to ring 08000418108. When I dialled 1471, the number that came up was 0015054749236. It's definitely worth being cautious!

Not long ago, I experienced something quite similar. I chose not to pick up the phone as the message was rather alarming. I decided to call 1471 to find out more, but it turns out there was no number available to ring back. I suspect it might just be a prank, yet it's still quite unsettling, to say the least.

Just got back from my getaway and stumbled upon a voicemail purporting to be from ‘HMRC’ threatening me with prosecution! Clearly, it's a daft scam, but I can see how some folks might fall for it. Just a heads-up, if HMRC really do need to get in touch, it certainly won't be through a dodgy automated message like that! Stay alert!

I’ve had a similar experience with HMRC. Tried calling the number, but it seems to be disconnected due to some violation of their terms of service. Just a heads up for everyone to stay vigilant!

I recently received a rather alarming automated call informing me that I was on the verge of being arrested due to unpaid dues to HMRC, and they instructed me to ring 08000418108 (what a scam!). It's high time that BT and Openreach took action against these pesky calls.

I received a recorded message stating there’s an arrest warrant issued by HMRC. It’s absolutely ridiculous and hard to believe, but I must admit I’m tempted to call the number back. I can only imagine the charges they’d hit me with if I did!

I received a voicemail claiming that there was an arrest warrant issued for my mother due to unpaid taxes with HMRC. Considering she's 78, it really shook her up. She phoned HMRC straight away, only to find out that they would never leave such a message. It's a total scam, so please don't get caught up in this nonsense.

Just like most folks, we seldom pick up the landline anymore, allowing all calls to head straight to voicemail. This isn’t the first time we've received this sort of message, and we've grown wise to their tricks. It’s quite baffling why Openreach or BT haven’t taken action against these scammers that are misusing these numbers.

I received a similar message regarding an arrest warrant, which urged me to call 08000418108 if I wanted to leave a message. After searching for it on this site, it appears to be a scam—at least that’s my guess. I'm uncertain whether dialling 08000418108 incurs any charges or not.

I received a voicemail claiming to be from HMRC, threatening me with an arrest warrant if I didn’t return their call. Oddly enough, the number they provided was a Freephone one. I really struggle to grasp the reasoning behind this scam. Surely, it's geared towards fishing for someone's actual phone number when you ring that 0800? Quite the sneaky tactic, if you ask me!

Received a rather alarming voicemail claiming that HMRC is preparing to issue an arrest warrant against us and is planning legal proceedings. It’s clearly a dodgy scheme, but I can see how it might spook those who aren’t clued up. However, I can’t quite fathom what they hope to achieve with such tactics. If anyone has insights into their motives, I’d love to hear them out of sheer curiosity!

Claimed to be from HMRC and said they had a warrant for my arrest—absolute nonsense! I ended the call after waiting six minutes, having pressed 1 to speak with my so-called "case officer." I can't help but wonder if they benefit financially if you stay in the line. They’re not getting a penny from me, though, what with privacy issues and security worries.
