This number is no good for sorting out utility savings, honestly, you can't reach anyone through it. They just ring up and say all sorts of stuff, saying they can switch your electricity supplier same day and stuff. They also say they're from a different company but naturally, they never put that on any call recordings. Totally useless if you want to get in touch.

Got 4 calls earlier today from someone wanting me to sign up my business for gas and electric where I just moved. I’m not a business (not yet) plus I’m already set up with the electric company. We use bottled gas anyway. Bet they would’ve tried to get my bank info if I’d carried on.

Received a call from a woman with a Northern accent about my business electricity account. Funny enough, it was just half an hour after another call from a different number. I told the woman it sounded like a scam, and when I asked for her details, she promptly ended the call. If they bother me again on my TPS-listed mobile, I'll be lodging a formal complaint with both the TPS and Companies House.

Got a call from someone saying they were from our energy supplier’s 'utility company'. When I asked which supplier they worked for, they couldn’t tell me. I was like, how do you not know that if you’re meant to be representing them? They just stuttered and said they work for all suppliers or something. I told them we handle our energy directly with our supplier and wouldn’t be sharing anything. Then they got all rude, said they’d call back, and hung up. Definitely a dodgy call, don’t share any info with these lot.

This number rang me up pretending to be from a utility provider. They said I’d just taken over the business property, which isn’t true at all. I told them that and then they tried to pin me down for a date for my utility renewal. When I asked a few questions, they just cut the call. I saw others mentioning similar stuff here - I also got a call from 03333209705 about 15 minutes before this, but as soon as I picked up, they ended the call. Really dodgy and can’t be trusted!

I got a call asking to talk to someone responsible for energy supply - we've been getting loads of annoying calls lately from Select Energy, so I said that person wasn't around. He kept dodging my questions about where he was ringing from. When I mentioned we've been pestered by Select Energy calls and don’t use their service, he finally admitted he was calling from Utility Services and accused me of being rude! Honestly, I wasn't rude at all, and my colleagues would back me up on that. I just hung up. Such an annoying bloke! Don’t let him get any info from you!

This week I got around half a dozen calls about fuel supply for my small business. My current contract doesn’t end until March so I told them I wasn’t interested. But this call centre kept saying if I didn’t agree now, prices would go up after November! I’ve blocked them on my mobile, although I’m not sure how to do the same for our landline. They also tried to get my name but I didn’t give any personal details. On their final call, they even put a supervisor on the line to push for a sign-up! The company they were promoting wanted to sell me a new “smart phone” too. I told them that’s the last thing I want since I think they’re bad for our health!

UTILITY SAVE - This electricity company keeps ringing nonstop and their callers are really rude and aggressive. They use loads of different phone numbers but it's all the same firm. I got a call from this number the other day. The person claimed to be Josh Gibson from Utility Save and said he needed details about our electricity account because apparently we were on an emergency tariff. He mentioned they were completely separate from the energy providers but insisted that legally I had to give them the info. I told him straight up I wasn’t comfortable sharing anything over the phone and asked that if they needed anything, they should write or email instead. Strangely, he said they weren’t allowed to communicate by post or email and could only deal with this stuff on the phone. They gave me another number to call for more info: 0844 807 0307. This is driving me nuts right now! In just the last hour at work, I’ve had three separate calls from people claiming to represent our electricity provider (yeah right, so which one exactly, I ask). They keep ringing me up like 3 times a day, and every time I tell them I'm not interested! They’re really rude about it. One time, my daughter picked up and hung up, and I swear I heard them laughing on the voicemail. So of course, they thought it was okay to bother us again! Proper annoying 😡

Since I put my mobile on my business Facebook page, I’ve been getting nonstop calls from this number, and a few others too, all from the same company - something like Energy Saver or similar names. It’s been like 4 calls every day for the past few weeks. Total scam, absolute nightmare.
