They ring me a couple of times each day, but I just let the answerphone pick up, and they promptly hang up. I rarely use my landline, it’s ex-directory, and I’ve registered on the ‘no call’ list, yet they still persist. I’m seriously contemplating unplugging the phone for a few days since it's hardly ever in use; hopefully, that’ll make them lose interest.

On 7th August 2015, I got a ring from this number. The bloke introduced himself as Ajake and wanted to know if I was satisfied with my BT service. I'd only just signed up with BT at that time, so I told him I was locked into a contract. He just said ‘Alright then’ and ended the call. Nothing suspicious or annoying about it really.

Got a call from someone claiming to be a BT partner called FirstSource, trying to push BT broadband and stuff. It’s mad how many big brands get other firms to do their sales calls. I just told them I wasn’t interested and they quickly removed me from their calling list. Pretty straightforward, really.

a bloke named richard rang me saying he was from bt. he was asking for someone i've never come across. when he found out he'd got the wrong number, he suddenly started talking about some special deal on my broadband to save money. sounded dodgy to me. then i looked up the number and found out it's been used by others pretending to be the environment agency. definite scam alert!
