In just a couple of days, I got two messages saying they were from the National Grid Priority Services Team. My phone quickly marked them as scams.

I never got a phone call, but out of the blue, I got a letter claiming to be from Royal Bank of Scotland saying they were keeping my will and wanted to send it back. The letter included a contact number, 0800 200 317, but something about the paper and the way it was written didn’t feel right, so I chose not to engage. Plus, the will was a joint one with my husband, and he never got any letter. I did have a student account once with NatWest, which I know is connected to RBS these days.

I just got a phone call from 0800 200 317, and the caller said they were from NatWest. When I tried to ask about their info protection policies, they pushed me to give my details straight away. Totally fishy, especially since I don’t even have an account with NatWest! Definitely looks like a scam to me.
