I got a letter from Natwest Fraud Operations which had this number on it, saying to ring if there were any problems to talk about. It really is legit. I was a bit wary at first, so I found the number on the Natwest site and phoned from there, and they put me through and said yep, this number is proper. Some payments had been blocked and didn’t show on the online statement, but they did alert us through the notifications.

They rang my elderly mother and even sent her a letter masquerading as NatWest. It truly distressed her and nearly made her unwell! Something needs to be done about this; they should definitely be reported and put an end to their deceitful antics!

I just got a letter this morning purporting to be from NatWest's Fraud & Chargeback Department, complete with a phone number to ring. It mentions there’s some dodgy activity on my bank card that ends with specific digits. I’m really pleased I looked this up prior to making any moves. Oddly enough, I had a phone call regarding this matter a few days back too. It seems they assumed the letter had arrived and that I’d be in a right state of panic! In my opinion, this is a really perilous phishing attempt.

Although they request your card details right off the bat, I found it to be a genuine service. I took the precaution of ringing the number located on the reverse of my NatWest card to verify, and they assured me it’s on the up and up.
