BEWARE! Total rip-off claiming to be from Google. I don’t even use Google, but I played along with the chap (his English was awful) and he genuinely seemed like he had me fooled. He kept saying he couldn’t catch what I was saying! Then I told him I was recording the call to hand it over to the coppers. As soon as I said "police" he slammed the phone down. Funny how cops’ names get through no matter the language!

Got a ring from this number earlier, some bloke with an Asian accent pretending to be from Google Gmail. He told me my email was involved in some scam and wanted me to chat with his supervisor. Then an American man came on claiming he was a senior consultant who could "FIX" my PC and that the "Google crew" could handle it all. I'm 70 years old, but not daft! The way they spoke was pretty convincing though. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying she was from Google Mail. She told me my Hotmail account was sending loads of spam and some threatening messages. She asked if I'd shared my password with anyone, and I said no, obviously. Then she just said “oh alright” and ended the call. Bit weird if you ask me.

Got a call from some bloke who said he was with Yahoo tech support. He somehow already knew my email and claimed someone had reported me for sending them nasty pics. After a while trying to make sense of his story, he wanted to control my PC to ‘block’ these supposed people from getting my IP. I just ended the call and blocked him straight away.

Just got a call from some bloke claiming he got £2000 for some dodgy deal - honestly, had me laughing! The guy was probably Indian, using a rubbish phone, and the funniest part? He rang from an 0800 number you could spot miles off. If you’re going to scam someone, why announce it on a number everyone knows is dodgy? Honestly, I’ve no time for these immigrants coming over here and stirring trouble for us Brits. They need to just go back where they came from! What a joke.

Got a call from some Indian spam place claiming to be Windows support. Funny thing is, I run Linux! They somehow had all my personal info and even my location, which felt really dodgy.

i got a call from someone saying they were from gmail tech support, said i needed to connect to some safe! server, sounded dodgy so i just ended the call. later when i went to use google drive, the screen looked weird like something was off. just FYI, i looked it up and google doesn't call if you only use the free version like me.

I got a call from this number today and they were asking me to verify my email and iCloud password. When I asked why, they claimed my iCloud was sending out spam with inappropriate pics. This is so messed up and something seriously needs to be done about it. Absolutely horrible!
