I recently received a phone call from a gentleman claiming to be in India. He wanted to charge me £198 to resolve some supposed issues. However, I’ve gone through my computer thoroughly and haven’t found any problems, yet I still keep receiving that pesky Flash warning. Quite baffling, isn’t it?

For the love of all that is good, steer clear of giving them a ring! Those pesky virus alerts are nothing but a ruse; you aren't infected at all. However, should you dare to call them, they're likely to plant actual malware onto your computer. Stay wise and don't fall for their tricks!

Steer clear of this number! It’s a dodgy setup. They’ll try to gain remote access to your device and if you don’t cough up the cash, they’ll threaten to mess with your system. And don’t be fooled by anyone pointing out supposed errors in your logs - those are standard issues that crop up on all computers! Just a word of caution: stay vigilant! It’s a right con! 🚫⚠️

I dialled the number and ended up chatting with a woman based in the Philippines. She conducted a thorough registry scan and appeared quite accommodating. However, the name Robin raised a few red flags for me. She then proposed a fee of £100 to rectify my registry issues, which I promptly turned down. All things considered, she seemed genuinely willing to assist, but I'm still unsure about the whole situation, especially since that number keeps resurfacing on my phone.

I keep getting this pesky pop-up ad that insists "facebookgames.exe" has gone and crashed my computer. Because of that, I'm unable to access any Facebook games, whether they're new or ones I've played before. Quite frustrating, really!
