So, I received a message from this number with a 4 digit code, claiming it was my Nat West verification code. Then, about half an hour later, I got a call from a private number saying they were from Nat West Fraud Dept. I didn’t share any details and asked for a contact number, which she gave me as an 0800 line. I rang the genuine Nat West number and found out it was all a scam.

Got a text saying to call this number, and turns out it was really from Natwest’s fraud team. But when I checked their official site, the contact number they give is different. They tell you to always use the number on the back of your card. I’m guessing this number’s probably used by scammers too, so be careful. If you’re told to phone it, best thing is to double-check with Natwest fraud team using the number on their website first.
