It seems that HSBC might have been ringing us up regarding some outstanding debt.

It seems that after falling behind on our credit card payment, this company has decided to pester us incessantly until we settle up! We cleared our overdue bill a month ago-albeit two weeks past the due date-but we’re still inundated with calls from this number, sometimes as many as ten in a single day! It’s absolutely relentless!

It's a scam! Don't bother returning the call. Instead, contact your bank using the number that’s on your card. They'll confirm that these folks haven’t actually been trying to get in touch with you. Stay cautious!
