Just so everyone knows, HSBC only give out 0800 numbers specifically for things like lost or stolen credit cards. Any other number, like 08000253477, isn’t legit and definitely isn’t HSBC. Don’t trust it!

I got this number from a letter supposedly from HSBC about a refund. Not sure if it’s legit or just a scam.
