I got a call from TSB recently, and when they asked me some security questions, I told them I wouldn’t answer since it was me being called. They just said thanks and hung up straight away.

I got a call from someone saying they were from TSB and needed me to answer some questions for security checks. When I asked why I should do that since they were the ones who called me, they just ended the call. Feels like a scam trying to fish for personal details.

Got a call from this number around 8 last night, and the person on the other end knew my name and said they were with TSB. A while back, I'd had some texts saying someone from TSB would get in touch soon. The call caught me off guard though. I told the caller I wasn’t sure who he was and asked if they could reach me online instead. The connection wasn’t great either, so maybe I was just being a bit paranoid, but you can’t be too careful these days.

I got in touch with my branch and they confirmed it’s a scam. Just be careful and double-check it yourself! Like someone mentioned before, they can easily spoof the number that shows up on your caller ID.

I got a text from someone saying they were from TSB bank, some team that’s dealing with complaints from a while back. They told me the name of the person who’d ring and the time they'd call. They even gave me a number to double check it was real, so I phoned my local branch and they confirmed it was legit.

Got a call around 8 in the evening from a bloke who asked for me by name. He claimed he was calling from the T.S.B. bank - not just TSB, but specifically said “TSB bank,” which sounded off. I told him he’d picked the wrong person to try and scam and then just ended the call. I dialled 1741 to see the real number, which came up as 08000253077. A quick search online showed tons of others have had calls from that number too. I’ll ring my local branch first thing tomorrow morning, but feels like a typical scam to me.

Actually had a proper call from them last week about the complaint I put in after tsb’s system went down. They asked for my date of birth and postcode to verify who I was. Then just this Monday, I saw they’d credited my account with some compensation. Definitely not a scam or anything dodgy.

A person named Nissi from TSB mentioned they'd ring between 9 and 10 or maybe later in the day regarding a complaint I lodged a while back, they even gave me a reference number. But nothing came through and now I'm a bit wary. Planning to pop into the nearest branch to check if they know anything about it.

I phoned the TSB main office to check that number since it was supposed to be from a new team dealing with complaints about software problems from earlier this year. The person on the line gave me a reference number after I refused to give them any personal info. They told me I could call again later. Got a call from 0800 0253077, the person said they were from TSB about some internet banking issue. They tried to get me to give out my security info but I wasn’t having any of it and kept saying no. I asked them to send me something official in writing instead. Then they wanted me to confirm my address, which I also refused. I ended the call and rang TSB myself to check if the number was legit. TSB told me they don’t know that number at all. I’d warn you to report this number to TSB straight away.

Just got a message that said something like: Hi, this is Eric from TSB. I’ll ring you about your complaint ###### sometime between 7:30pm and 8:30pm today. The call will come from 0800 025 3077. If you’re not free, I’ll try again later. I checked with TSB on their official site and they told me that number isn’t theirs at all! Would really recommend blocking it straight away.

I picked up and some bloke said his name was Amir from TSB, asking for personal info. I told him I was tied up and would call later. He even tossed me a reference number! When I phoned TSB, they told me it was a dodgy call and they’re checking it out. Be careful, don’t share your details with anyone like that.
