Looks like it's just a DWP call centre ringing out, but annoying enough both times they've phoned our business (not a private number) we’ve been out driving. They never leave a voicemail so there's no way to ring them back and find out why they're calling. This number rang me multiple times a couple days back, but they never left a voicemail or any message. When I picked up once, it was a guy with an Indian accent trying to talk about jobs and benefits, really pressing me for info. Definitely felt like a scam, quite annoying and persistent.

I got a call on my landline from a number linked to the DWP. When I checked with the police, they said it's a scam trying to collect personal info to fraudulently claim Universal Credit. They probably already have some info from places like Facebook and are after more. Definitely don't share any details over the phone!

I just got two calls from this number. The first time it rang once and then stopped before I could pick up. The second time it went for two rings, and when I finally answered, the call ended from their side. I’ve been dealing with the DWP about my Pension Credit recently, and they did send me a text beforehand saying they’d be calling, but this isn’t the number they gave me. Since I wasn’t expecting any more calls from them, I think this might be a scam. I’m also signed up with the TPS.
