Somebody rang saying they were from Gigaclear and that my gear needed upgrading (odd, since it was just installed not long ago). They said the money would go to some travel agency in Istanbul, which raised a few flags. They gave me the name of the 'engineer' who'd be visiting and booked a date and time. If you’re over 60, they said you only pay a small fee but they still need your personal info. Sounded legit enough. I usually know about these scams but still got caught out by this one.
