This bloke called asking how I was, so I told him I’m sick of all the calls since I’ve missed 5 while I was working today and warned him it’d need to be something urgent cos I really shouldn’t be picking up. Possible Scam Funeral Plan Call I got two calls from 0800 016 3957. The first was really brief, like an accidental dial or something. Then he rang again, and I had a quick chat with him. It was some bloke trying to flog dodgy funeral plans - funny enough, he seemed real surprised when I told him I actually work at a funeral home! He sounded older with a rough English accent and said his name was Andy Burnett, but I’m pretty sure that was just made up.

Got a call from One Life Funeral, and when I asked if it was a cold call, they said no, that’s against the law. But it totally was! They even knew my first name and claimed I’d done a survey - I definitely hadn’t, not on principle. Then they said maybe someone else put my name down, can you believe that? Who’d even put your name on a funeral plan without asking? Don’t pick up if you get this call. Total scammers.

one life funeral plan. i’ve emailed them to complain as loudly as i could about their cold calls, especially when it’s about something as delicate as funerals. some person claimed i’d made a first payment on a funeral plan, which is totally false. i told them to remove my details from their list, something i never gave them permission for. even funnier, their site makes you agree to a privacy policy that they clearly don’t follow. absolutely shameful.
