I reckon this seems pretty legitimate. The top-notch tip? Give a bell to the number printed on the back of your Lloyds debit card. That'll connect you straight to the authentic Lloyds Fraud Department. You can then verify whether that text you've received is the real McCoy.

It appears that this phone number is currently being utilized by an individual claiming to represent Lloyds Bank, alluding to a supposed alteration in my telephone banking details. Clearly, this deception is still very much in circulation.

This is indeed the authentic contact number for the Non Plastic Fraud division of Lloyds TSB. It's worth noting that mobile numbers can be recycled, and due to common mix-ups, individuals who aren't clients of Lloyds TSB occasionally receive messages. To those who assert, "I haven't modified my mobile number, thus this message can't be legitimate," it's essential to grasp the context. The bank aims to inform you that a FRAUDSTER might have tampered with your contact details. If you're uncertain, I highly recommend reaching out to the number printed on your bank card or popping into your local branch. Remember, it's crucial not to dismiss any communication coming from this number!

We received a letter and decided to give them a ring, and everything seemed quite legitimate. Nevertheless, I plan to pop into the branch tomorrow just to confirm all is on the up and up!

I recently received a text message urging me to call 08000 150082 regarding some transactions. Once I made the call, I was met with some rather odd inquiries, such as asking who resided at my address before me! Feeling quite uneasy about it all, I decided to hang up. I then contacted Lloyds TSB’s customer service directly, and they confirmed that the number in question is linked to their scam department. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Earlier today, we received a text message informing us that our phone number had been updated for Lloyds TSB, providing an overseas contact number (+441733347355) to call. When we dialled that initial number, the individuals on the line appeared to be genuine, but it soon became apparent that they are definitely NOT who they claim to be! This afternoon, we received a call that was BLOCKED on our mobile, which we don’t recognise at all. It’s the first time this has happened, but I can’t help but wonder if it’s related.

Over the last fortnight, I received a couple of texts purporting to be from LLOYDSTSB. The first one claimed there had been a change to our phone number linked to our account at half past twelve on the 30th of March, providing a contact number of 08000 150082. The second message, which came through at 8:22 AM, mentioned the setting up of a new bill payment associated with an account that ends in 8308, with a separate number to call, 0845 000000. Interestingly, both messages had international numbers trying to reach out as well. The amusing part? We don’t even hold an account with LLOYDSTSB! Clearly, this reeks of fraud or a scam. Best of luck to everyone else out there!

I recently got a message prompting me to ring this number, suggesting that if I hadn’t altered my phone number, I should get in touch. I took the liberty of checking my bank account information, and to my relief, all is in order. It appears nothing has changed. I can't help but suspect this is a phishing attempt.

I got a message claiming that my internet banking details were updated on the 29th of July, 2015. If you weren’t the one to initiate this change, you're advised to ring 08000150082 or +441733347355 if you're overseas. I phoned my bank using their usual contact number and they informed me that those numbers aren’t recognised by them, so it seems it’s a phishing scam trying to get personal details.

I received a text supposedly from Lloyds TSB earlier today. Just a heads up, this message is definitely NOT authentic from Lloyds TSB! Stay vigilant!

This morning, I got a text from 'LLOYDSTSB' that stated something along the lines of 'you have updated your phone numbers on 08/04 at 12:25:24', which is rather odd as I haven’t made any such amendments! They suggested contacting 080000150082 or +441733347355 if I hadn’t initiated these changes. However, after looking at my account details, it’s clear I’ve never even shared my mobile number with them, so I’m treating this message as a scam and will be disregarding it entirely!

I’ve just had a message notifying me that my phone numbers have been updated with Lloyds TSB. The problem? I’m not even a client there! Clearly a scam!

As a Lloyds account holder, I was rather perplexed to receive a message despite the fact that I hadn’t altered my phone number in any way. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I decided to change my number, only to be met with the very same message again. It appears that this notification pops up if you’re not actually a Lloyds customer, or, as in my unfortunate situation, when someone at Lloyds has mistakenly updated their mobile contact to yours. Quite the conundrum, really!

I just got a text from this number claiming that my online banking details had been altered. However, since I don't even have online banking, it was pretty obvious to me that it was a scam.

Exercise caution, everyone. I recently received a message purporting to be from LLOYDSTSB, and it appeared quite convincing, much like the authentic communications I usually get from them. The text claimed there had been updates regarding my phone numbers and instructed me to give them a ring, which I did. Upon answering, they swiftly requested my sort code and account number. This raised significant red flags for me, so I promptly terminated the call and visited my local branch to verify the situation. After reviewing my information, they assured me that nothing had been altered. This is, without a doubt, a scam.
