Someone called me up using my name, telling me to go to the Hillsborough branch to collect my bank card and cheque book - stuff I had ordered but thought would be sent through the post. When I got there, they said they hadn’t got anything for me. After a fair bit of asking around, it turned out my items had been sent to the wrong place. The branch didn’t seem bothered about tracing where the call had come from though.

Supposedly it was Lloyds, but they sent me info about someone else’s account and some payment details. They said it was from a Salford branch, but I live down here on the south coast. On the 8th of Jan 2025, I got a call from 08000150050 but didn’t pick up since it wasn’t a number I knew. They left no voicemail or anything. After seeing what others have said about this number, I’m guessing it might be some kind of scam.

I got a call from this number and it was actually Lloyds following up on an appointment I’d set up at my local branch. The caller’s name was the same as the staff member I was supposed to meet, and the appointment time and date they mentioned matched perfectly. They didn’t ask for any personal info during the call, so I felt pretty confident it was legit. That’s just what happened to me though - I’d suggest reading the other reviews too, since it sounds like some people had quite different things to say!

Definitely a legit call from Lloyds bank. I put money in at the cash machine yesterday, maybe about 3 hours later they phoned me regarding the deposit. They mentioned the amount, the bank I used, the time and other details only Lloyds would know. The amount was actually more than what I'd put on the slip. No doubt it’s authentic. They should really think about not using an 0800 number though as it makes people doubt it. It’s perfectly safe to pick up.
