Some bloke called me up saying I was due a cheque for some PPI payout and then asked for my bank details.

She introduced herself as Lisa Williams and provided an ID number: 731682. However, to get this cheque, I would need to provide a photo ID-either my driving licence or passport-along with a recent utility bill to confirm my address, and intriguingly, a PAY SAFE VOUCHER for £100. She assured me that she would hand me back the £100 in cash, making it seem like it wouldn't cost me anything at all. Now, call me a skeptic, but it feels a bit too good to be true... Last time I received any PPI refund, it simply showed up in the post without all this fuss.
