11 yearsSome bloke rang saying he was from TalkTalk’s tech team but when I asked for their email, phone number or even where their call centre was, he couldn’t give me squat. Didn’t even know the name of his manager or anything! Could be real I suppose, but it felt dodgy. I wouldn’t hand over my password and he just said “alright, we can still go ahead” without asking for any other security checks. Lately I’ve been getting loads of calls like this cos I’m a target for identity thieves.
