I told him I hadn’t arranged anything like that and couldn’t let him in. He handed me a card saying it was from National Gas Metering and then left. I called my energy provider afterwards, and they confirmed they didn’t have any record of a meter change scheduled for me. I’m relieved I didn’t let him inside. Just wanted to warn others so they don’t get tricked.
