Got a call from someone claiming they were HMRC. Obviously a scam, so I just blocked the number right away.

Got a call with a robotic message saying my Amazon Prime subscription was going to be renewed for £77. Thing is, I don't even have Amazon Prime, so it immediately felt dodgy. I followed the instructions and hit 1, then chatted to someone who claimed to be from Amazon. When I asked for my name, they gave me a name that wasn’t mine at all. Definitely a sketchy number, probably a scam. Watch out and don’t fall for it!

Got a call from some robo-voice, kept threatening me with some nonsense. Total scam!

Got a call on 17th Jan around 3.25pm from some automated voice tellin me to press 1 to sort out some tax and customs issue. I didn’t fall for it and ended the call right away, knew it was dodgy.

Just got a call at 10:56 am on Monday, 16 January 2023. It was one of those recorded messages with a bloke speaking very formally, saying there’s been an £800 charge on my Visa card, paid to some gambling outfit in the States. I didn’t hang about and cut the call right away because it was clearly a scam. After checking, it seems this number has been used for different scams before - the person behind it keeps switching things up.

Got a voicemail saying my internet service would be disconnected in a day because of some unlawful stuff. Quite alarming!

Got a dodgy call from an 02 number, they asked for my security codes - total scammer!

This number called me, saying they were with Sky. I cut the guy off right after he said he worked there.

Got a robo call claiming it was Amazon Prime telling me someone had just ordered an iPhone for £799 and that they’d blocked my account. I just ended the call and later checked my Amazon account online - everything looked fine, no problems at all.
