Got this text telling me to pay some shipping charge for a parcel, just like the ones before. The website looked pretty legit but the message came from a regular phone number, which felt a bit weird. Plus, the tone was kinda pushy and odd. Haven’t bought anything in ages, so I'm pretty sure it’s a scam.

Like others have said, this seems to be from Royal Mail or so they claim. A dead giveaway is the use of the term “actions” - sounds like someone who isn’t a native English speaker. Normally, if there’s any issue, Royal Mail would just pop a card through your door, not call out of the blue.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Royal Mail, saying I needed to pay a fee for delivery. Sounded dodgy to me, so I hung up straight away. Definitely a scam trying to trick you into paying. Keep an eye out for these sorts of calls!

Got a text supposedly from Royal Mail about a shipping charge and a link to pay it urgently or else there’d be consequences. A mate of mine got the exact same message a while back. He clicked the link but it was just a fake copy of the real Royal Mail site. Luckily, he reported it straight away to Royal Mail.
