Got a message from this number saying I'd been fined for a parking violation by some local council. There weren't any specifics about which council, where or when it supposedly happened - felt like a total con. The text said I had 28 days to sort the fine, and if I missed that, I'd have another 14 days but with an extra 50% charge tacked on. They even warned about legal action if I didn’t pay up. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.
