Got a call from some “phone warehouse” lot claiming there was an iPhone giveaway. When I asked how they ended up with my contact, the bloke just sighed and quickly ended the call. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.

Just got one of those classic fake internet provider calls! Someone rang me saying they were from my broadband company, telling me my computer was showing error reports or had a virus. Honestly, don’t fall for it or send them any money - paying these people won’t make sure you get your data back or fix anything, it’s all a con.

Some bloke said he was from BT's tech team. Honestly, I’m signed up with the TPS, so I’m gonna flag this number as a nuisance. We ain’t connected to BT at all, mate!

Got a call from someone saying they were BT and my phone line was hacked. I called it out as a dodgy scam and he quickly said, "No madam, this isn't a scam." I told him to prove it then, see his so-called 'no scam' story, and that’s when he just hung up on me.

I got a call from 0798434949 earlier, and it was someone from the IT technical team or something. Bit confusing, wasn’t really sure what they wanted.

Someone rang me pretending they were from BT, but I’m pretty sure it was a scam. They tried to get me to give personal details, which I refused of course. Always be careful with calls like that!
