Yep, totally a scam! There was this awkward pause at first, then a creepy recorded voice claiming to be from the “Bank of England Financial Crimes Unit.” They said there’s an arrest warrant out for me related to some vague financial wrongdoing. They wanted me to press 1 to talk to someone, but I just ended the call straight away.
