I got a call from a Vodafone number, and a woman said she was from my bank, saying my account had been hacked. Her voice was robotic, and she told me to press a button to get through to the bank. I rang the number back, hiding my caller ID, and a man answered. He said he hadn't made any calls like that but confirmed the Vodafone number was his. He sounded sincere, not like a robot, and seemed worried. I told him to get in touch with his network provider because it looked like his phone might have been compromised.
