Definitely a dodgy call, looks like a scam to me.

Got a message claiming it was from a mate’s phone that’s nearly out of battery, asking me to message back a certain number. Then another one popped up saying they were really stressed and couldn’t call because their speaker was broken. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.
