I got a recorded phone call saying my national insurance number had been hacked and was about to be cancelled, and that the national crime agency were going to arrest me. After that, they put me through to some call centre where they asked for my name and address to verify my account. I told them if they don’t have that info already, it’d be hard to arrest me, wouldn’t it? They just ended the call straight away.
