Phone rang, so I answered. Instead of giving my name, I just say “hello” these days on my landline. Most times it’s scammers, rarely a real call. This time it was some recorded message saying £600 had been charged to my Amazon account for an Apple iPhone. 1. Scammers never bother to make sure they’re talking to the right person. 2. They never confirm who they are either. I just ended the call straight away. Totally obvious scam about money.

This woman, who said her name was Crystal and spoke very broken English, rang me up claiming she was sending me a refund for some home appliances I bought. Some bloke named Peter phoned me this morning, proper pushy he was! I told him I didn’t want to hear what he had to say that early, but he kept insisting it wasn't too early and that I had to listen. He started talking about Microsoft, but I cut him off and said I was not interested and would be making a complaint. Then he got all shouty, threatening to report me for being difficult. That was it, I just hung up on him.

This number is just like 01969 622691, which tried ringing me about an hour ago with a dodgy ‘Amazon’ call. I told them no and hung up straight away. Some bloke called saying he was from BT about my internet speed. I told him I'd already chatted with BT and then he just hung up on me. Looks like a dodgy spam call to me.

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent, and she actually knew our last name. But the minute we asked her who she was, she just ended the call. Pretty weird, honestly.

Got a call at about 10:36 in the morning, but when I answered, there was just silence and then they hung up. Earlier that day around 9:11, a different but kinda similar number, 07974762120, rang me and the exact same thing happened. Proper annoying this sort of thing.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT, told me my internet speed was rubbish. I asked her for my account number and name, but she just hung up. If it was really BT calling, they'd of known that stuff already. So yeah, definitely some kind of scam.

Got a call from the same number three times in just ten minutes. Didn’t know the number at all, so I figured it was probably a scam. Looking at the reviews, seems like I was spot on. I always label calls like this as DANGEROUS just to warn others who might not be so cautious.

Got a call a moment ago, let it go to voicemail. The person on the other end was talking about some problem with payment on a Prime account. I don’t have a Prime account, so it's clearly a scam.

Just found out that someone apparently used my visa card to put £800 into online gambling. The weird part is, I don't even have a visa card!

Got a call early in the morning, about 8.40am, from someone saying they were from Virgin Media's IT team about my internet. I told them it sounded like a scam, and she warned me if I didn’t pay attention, she’d cut me off. Told her to go ahead then. She was pretty cheeky, quite rude, and ended the call by calling me a right rude name - not very pleasant at all!

After hearing a load of background noise from what sounded like a call centre, and taking ages before the woman actually said anything, I ended up hanging up straight away. With all the other reviews here, it’s obvious this is a scam.

He started by telling me he was calling from Microsoft and used my last name. When I told him straight up it was a scam, he got quite irritated and just kept saying my name over and over. That's when I decided to hang up.

Got a call earlier from a woman speaking with a really strong accent, sounded foreign. She claimed I’d filed a claim for a refund on some service but didn’t mention what exactly. Asked me for my email to sort it out. When I asked where she was calling from, the call just dropped dead quiet. I ended the call straight away.

Got a call today, 28/11/23, from this number. A really clear, smooth voice said they were with Visa's fraud team. They said there had been suspicious charges for gambling online in the US, about £800. They asked me to press 1 to connect with fraud services if it was me. I just hung up by hitting the end call button straight away.

This number rang me way too early, like at some ridiculous time in the morning. I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t know, so I'd be careful if you get a call from them.

Got a call from this number early today and it woke me from my sleep. I didn't know who it was and my blurry eyes couldn't make it out properly. Since it wasn’t anyone I knew, I just ignored it and didn’t answer.

I got a call from this number but as soon as I answered, it just got passed to some call guard thing and then they hung up straight away. Pretty obvious it’s a scam since they didn’t even bother to leave a message or a number to get back on. I’ve blocked it now.
