A bloke with an Indian accent rang, claiming to be from Microsoft and wanted to check the last time I logged in. When I asked where he was calling from, he said Reading, but as soon as I pressed for an address, he just hung up. This is the third time this week that I've got these random calls from 'Microsoft,' none of which I asked for, all from different numbers. I've blocked them all now.

I got a call from someone claiming to be BT saying there was an issue with my internet. Got a call from someone claiming to be with Microsoft. They wanted to know if I owned a computer, if I was the primary user, and if there was an issue with it. I just kept saying no to everything. The guy got a bit pushy, so I told him outright I don’t use Microsoft at all. Then he started mumbling to someone before the call suddenly dropped. These scams have been around for more than five years now. Don’t fall for it like my mate did. They managed to hack into her computer and it ended up costing her hundreds in repairs.

I noticed this number kept ringing on my home phone, but thankfully the calls didn’t come through as I had it set to block unknown numbers. After a quick look here, I’ve added it to my block list anyway.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who claimed my computer was under attack. Definitely felt like a scam straight away. Still, she was dead determined and phoned me again just minutes after I told her I wasn’t interested.

Got a call in the morning from someone saying she was Sarah from "Windows" or something like that. Not sure what that was about, but it woke me right up! Told her to get lost, and luckily she hung up after that.

Got a robo call on my TalkTalk landline just about ten mins ago. They said there were payments on my Mastercard for some suspicious gambling stuff and Amazon. I just ended the call straight away. Total rubbish if you ask me. Seriously weird experience, defo blocking this number. 07974910532

I got a phone call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media saying there were problems with my router recently. When I asked them for the name on the account, instead of answering, they just said "why do you need that?" I told them they should already know, and then they snapped back with "who even are you?!" before cutting the call abruptly.

Got a call earlier today from these scumbags with a recorded message saying there was a charge on my Visa card. They told me to press 1, which I refused to do and just hung up straight away. I then tried phoning back the number 07974 910532, but someone answered saying I’d dialled wrong. I’ve contacted Visa to let them know what happened. Honestly, be extra cautious and don’t press any numbers if you get calls like this. Feels like these muppets are based here in the UK. Make sure you report stuff like this to Visa as well.

Got a call from someone overseas saying I was owed money from a claim I supposedly made ages ago. When I asked what it was about, they mentioned some tech team but never said which firm they were from. I just ended the call.
