I got a call from a bloke with a thick foreign accent, real polite he was. He warned me that if I didn’t follow some steps on me computer, my broadband and landline would get cut off. He said he’d guide me through fixing some problem, but I didn’t trust it at all.

Got a call saying my national insurance number was being used illegally and that it would be suspended. They told me to press 1 to talk to them and confirm my info, otherwise they threatened arrest. Proper scary stuff.
