I felt a bit iffy about answering since it was a mobile phone number. I popped into the branch and they assured me it was legit, explained they’re using mobiles now since employees are working from home. They even helped me get back in touch. Big thanks to my local branch for sorting that out for me 😄

Since when do legit banks ring you from a mobile number? This has all the signs of an RBS scam if you ask me.

someone called me but mixed up my name straight away so I didn’t entertain it any longer. I saw a few comments saying it was rbs on the line, but I’ve done 7 years in finance myself and I know rbs would never call from a mobile phone. Not once.

Got a call from someone sayin they were Heather from RBS, checking on my “digital banking.” Felt off straight away cos she couldn’t even say my name right. Plus, why would the bank just ring out the blue like that? Definitely didn’t trust it.

Somebody said they were from RBS, but when I asked for details, they just said they wanted to check I was satisfied with everything and didn’t give any info.
