Got a call from 07970 447420 claiming to be from my bank, said I was in Chelmsford. First off, they never said which bank, and I don’t even live anywhere near Chelmsford. Definitely felt fishy, like a scam. Don’t trust it!

Somebody rang me claiming to be from my bank, but it seemed odd because the call came from a mobile number. They were asking if I wanted to arrange a check-up on my account. They didn’t ask for any private info or money details, just whether I was interested in scheduling a review. Not sure if it was a scam or actually from the bank.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from my bank in Chelmsford, but I don’t even have an account there. The caller used a name I couldn’t make out and spoke in a really odd way that didn’t sound right. She said it was a “courtesy call” and wanted me to ring back, which felt like a total scam. Blocked the number straight away.
