Some strange guy rang and said ‘You missed a call from me’. I told him no, I definitely didn’t (I hadn’t dialled his number ever). Then he insisted he did, claiming he just got a call from my phone a moment ago. I repeated that I’ve no idea who he is and haven’t called anyone today, so he must be some kind of scammer or a total weirdo stalking me. He just chuckled and asked what my name was. I told him he’s weird and to shove off. Then I blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from an Asian guy, with kids yelling noisily in the background, loads of static and interruptions. He asked if I was (name), I said yes, then said he was from National Debt Helpline and wanted to know if I was in debt and wanted help. Seemed dodgy to me, so I said no and ended the call. If you choose to reply, just stay silent. They keep your voice and try to hack into accounts where you use voice as a password. Never share any details if the person on the line starts asking questions. Most of the time, you'll only talk to a robot if they’ve already collected enough info about you and just want to capture your voice.

Got two calls from some number today, no clue who it was. Both times I answered, there was just silence on the other end, then I heard some weird robotic click followed by a recorded "goodbye". First call was around 11 this morning and then the same thing happened again not long ago. Really odd.

Had a call from a number I didnt recognise. Before calling back I thought I’d have a quick look here and so glad I didnt bother, dodged a bullet there!
