I always let calls go to my answerphone first to screen them, but this one left no voicemail or anything.

Some bloke with a Pakistani accent kept ringing me, trying to sell Bitcoin from some dodgy call centre that sounded like nonsense. Non-stop rambling. Definitely a total con artist.

Had pretty much the same thing happen. A bloke with an Indian accent called, saying I owed money and mentioned some sort of debt consolidation. When I asked which debts he meant, he quickly got rude and slammed the phone down. Didn’t catch all he said but “idiot” was definitely thrown in there somewhere. Lovely chap.

Kept missing their calls, and the one time I got through, they just ended the call. Tried ringing back, but it just goes straight to voicemail. Can EE do anything about this? It’s so annoying getting calls 3 or 4 times daily. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a ring from someone saying they were from "Citizen Advice" asking for my full name about my unsecured debts. Claimed they had my details from the FCA. When I asked them to send a letter instead since I’m wary of calls from mobiles, the bloke just told me not to be daft and then hung up on me straight away.

Looks like most of us are a wee bit behind on payments. I’m certainly not exempt. Those card companies just shove the debts onto dodgy firms, unfortunately. But honestly, tell them to jog on and have a word with citizens advice, or if you’re in Scotland, look into a trust deed.

Some bloke from Asia called, said he wanted to sort out my debts. After about 6 minutes chatting, I told him to jog on. He just went quiet and hung up. Proper rude bloke. People should watch out, total con artist! Wanker.

Some bloke rang me saying I owed money and wasn't pleased when I asked where he got my details from, mentioning GDPR. He totally lost it on the phone, calling me all sorts of names. Naturally, I fired back some insults too. I hung up but the same cheeky bloke rang again and started asking if I fancied a bit of sex or whatever. I told him I was dialing the police, which I did, but they said there wasn’t much they could do, though they were quite understanding. What on earth is happening these days? Watch out for these muppets!

got two calls from this number. missed the first one. a woman said her name was janet and asked for me using my full name. i wanted to know where she was calling from and she said something about a ‘credit investigation’ but never really said who she was. i asked how she got my number and then she just cut off. sounded like she was abroad, maybe from some call centre, cos i could hear loads of voices in the back.

This guy rang me up claiming he got my details from my creditors and said I could have my debt wiped. Then he started quizzing me on how much I owe. I asked for proper proof but he must’ve realised he wasn’t gonna get anything out of me ‘cos he just cut the call. Honestly, don’t trust this number at all!

Haha, this was cracking! Some bloke called Jason Williams rang me (sounded like he was messing with a voice changer) claiming they had some legal stuff about my credit card (I don’t even own one) and asked if I was Miss X. I said yeah, that’s me, but I don’t have a credit card. Then he said something like "you’ve got bills to pay monthly" and I replied nope, of course not, I’m only 17! (not true, I’m 28). Then he just said alright and hung up. Honestly, if they’re gonna spin lies, why not have a laugh and mess about a bit? Makes time fly by.

Someone rang sayin they were from citizens advice about debt. As soon as I said I dont owe anything, they just hung up. Citizens advice never call like that, watch out it’s a scam. The bloke said his name was Steve but his English wasnt good at all. I kept him on the line to stop him bothering anyone else.
