I got a call on my landline from a bloke saying he was with Sky. He wanted me to install some app called Zoho on my phone to check the internet connection. Something felt off since usually they can fix stuff without needing me to download anything. When I told him I wasn’t comfortable and it seemed fishy, he started swearing at me then just hung up. The guy had an Indian accent and sounded quite professional at first, which made it a bit confusing. I used 1471 to check the number afterwards and realised straight away it was a scam. Be careful out there!

I got a voicemail saying there were two dodgy charges on the card tied to my Amazon account and to "press 1 to report it". I just ended the call and made sure to report that number to the proper authorities.
