Just got a text saying to update my EE bank info, but it's definitely a scam! Don't fall for it!

Got a text supposedly from EE saying my latest bill wasn’t paid and to follow a link to sort it out. Had a look at my EE account and saw the payment had gone through ages ago. I let EE know about the suspicious message, then just blocked the number and deleted the text.

I got a call from someone saying they were from O2 and that I had an outstanding payment to sort out. Seemed a bit dodgy to me, like a scam or something. Definitely wouldn’t trust it without double checking myself.
