Got a call from an automated message with an American accent saying it was HMRC warning me about legal trouble and to press 1 to stop it. I just ended the call straight away and blocked the number. Then, a few minutes later, I got another ring from 01212850415, which I didn’t answer but looked up afterwards and blocked too. Makes me wonder if that first call was just testing if my phone was active?
