I got a call from a young guy, said he was a locksmith, sounded Romanian and he had a mobile number from the UK. I’m quite elderly and, annoyingly, he exploited that by making me go to a cash machine to take out money as some kind of upfront fee. The job he did was terrible and way overpriced. In the end, we had to hire a proper professional who charged only a fraction of what this bloke wanted. Honestly, I feel daft for falling for it!
