Someone claiming to be from Sky called me about an issue with my internet. I'm so done with these overseas scammers ringing up trying to pull a fast one.

Clearly a dodgy operation! You can instantly sense something's amiss when there's a lag before someone responds once you answer the call. It's a classic Microsoft con, no doubt about it.

Got a call from 07949402256, they mentioned bank fraud but then they just ended the call immediately.

I received a pre-recorded call claiming to be from Amazon, stating that a charge of £95 was set to be processed for a "Prime" subscription that I supposedly signed up for. They instructed me to press 1 to proceed with the transaction or 2 to opt out. I decided to end the call instead.

Got a call about some dodgy activity on our Barclaycard, apparently. My missus handed me the phone, so I asked them straight up which account they meant, and then they just dropped the call. Tried ringing back with 141 before the number to keep my number hidden, but it says the number's not valid. Bit fishy if you ask me.

Got a call claiming to be from Amazon Prime about a subscription, but it felt totally dodgy and like a scam. Definitely don’t trust those automated messages!

Got another call pretending to be from Amazon about my membership - classic scam.

Got a call that claimed to be from Amazon Prime, with a recorded message saying, "You’ve been charged £91 on your Amazon account. If this wasn’t you, press 1." Just for laughs, I hit 1 and some scammer with an Indian accent answers saying, "Thank you for calling Amazon." I asked him, "How can I be sure you’re really Amazon?" Then the bloke just hung up on me. Classic scammer behaviour!

This number rang me again just about 8:30 this evening. I didn’t pick up. Fingers crossed they get bored of ringing so much soon.

Whenever I get calls from numbers I don’t recognise, I just don’t pick up. Ian does the same, he never answers unknown numbers either.

This morning I received a voicemail from 07949402256 with an American accent saying I'd supposedly sent £900 through Western Union. It told me to press 1 if I hadn’t done it, which I did because I never send money that way. After that, nothing happened. I decided to call back and was met by a charming lady from the north of England. She mentioned she’s been getting loads of similar calls and insisted it’s not her doing at all - sounds like her number’s been hacked or something like that.
