Just got a text from (07946) 645630 saying something about “hsbc new payee request made from a device not registered. Authorise or cancel if it wasn’t you.” There was a link included but I didn’t tap on it, seemed dodgy to me.

Got a text from someone saying they were from HSBC, but I don't even have an account with them. Turned out to be dodgy, so I just blocked the number straight away.

got a text saying i needed to confirm or cancel a payment request from hsbc with a link included. knew it was dodgy straight away cos hsbc never sends links in their texts. just deleted it without clicking anything.
