Got a ring on my private work phone from this number, and believe it or not, it was the third dodgy call I’ve had today. The bloke sounded like he was working in a call centre, and had a South Asian accent. He introduced himself as Richard Williams, said he was from Virgin Media - though my company isn’t even with them. He tried telling me that every time I go online, harmful stuff is getting uploaded onto my PC. Didn’t buy a word of it, told him it was a scam and blocked the number straight away!
