I received a rather dodgy call the other day from an automated voice, claiming there was an attempt to use my debit or credit card for a transaction abroad. It urged me to press 2 to reach the accounts department, but it was far too vague regarding the card details, so I chose to ignore it. This isn’t the first time, though-I've had similar automated messages from a 07944 number, previously concerning a supposed purchase on Amazon, which I promptly reported to them. I've now blocked that number, but I have a nagging feeling I’ll soon receive more calls from other 07944 variations since they seem to have my number on their radar.
