Received a rather dodgy message claiming to be from Royal Mail, saying my parcel was on hold because of a £1.99 shipping fee that needed settling. For starters, it came from a private number and I’ve had genuine communications from Royal Mail before, and they wouldn’t be messaging me at one in the morning like this. Stay vigilant folks; don't fall for it!

I’ve received a couple of messages from a different number (+447904368716), claiming to be from Royal Mail, saying they’re holding a parcel for me and want £1.99 to release it. Oddly enough, I’ve never shared my mobile number with them! It makes me curious just how many unsuspecting folks fall for this trickery. It's quite the nuisance, isn't it?
