A woman called claiming to be a police officer, saying some bloke called Anton tried to get a loan from Lloyds bank using my name. Even though I told her I don’t have a Lloyds account, she kept going on about it. Weirdly, she suddenly switched to speaking Russian right away. Me and my mate just ended the call halfway through once we sussed it was a scam. I thought they’d try to ask for my details after that, but they didn’t. Strange!
