This number just rang me earlier with a recorded message claiming there had been a £900 spend on my Visa card. It told me if I didn’t authorise it, I needed to follow a link to cancel the transaction straight away. Thing is, I definitely don’t have that sort of money in my account! Seems like just another one of those dodgy scams we keep getting bombarded with. I’ve slapped the number on my blocked list now, though honestly not sure how much good that'll actually do.
