I've shared this twice because if you want to put an end to these scammers ripping off the vulnerable and pestering the rest of us, some action is required. It takes a bit of time, but I personally report all scam calls and messages straight to the police database (I keep the web page bookmarked for quick access). Sadly, it needs loads of people to do this before there’s any real change, but thousands are reporting scams here every day. You won't see instant results if you bother to report, but if no one tries, these scams will just keep on going without a hitch.

Find the ‘report phishing’ section and carefully read what it says. Then put in all the details of the scam, including any web addresses or links. You don’t need to sign up or give personal info unless you’ve actually lost cash. The more we report these dodgy attempts, the better chance the police have of tracking them down!
