This number has been ringing me non stop for a couple of weeks now. I told the guy, who sounded Asian, that I’d be reporting him to the police. Today he phoned again, so I told him to piss off. Then he rang back and started saying really nasty stuff about me sucking his thing and wanting to shove it in my mouth. I’m seriously thinking of reporting him both to the cops and Ofcom.

Lots of times when I pick up, the caller just drops the phone once my answer machine starts, no word said. Seems daft to me to waste a chargeable call just to hang up. But honestly, I don’t get bothered by it anymore. To me, if the call was legit and mattered, they’d actually talk instead of staying silent.

Got a call from an Indian guy asking if I’d been in an accident. When I told him my number's registered with the TPS and that he’s basically breaching the rules, he just hung up. I’ve filed a complaint with the ICO online. It really feels like there aren’t enough consequences to stop these calls even though there’s laws meant to prevent them.

No matter what, don’t ring them back especially if youve got a contract. They’ll drain your credit super fast and if you’re on a contract, you’re likely to get a massive bill at the end of the month. Avoid calling any random mobile numbers that ring you - they’ll say or do whatever it takes to get you to phone them back.

Loads of muppets who call, but I don’t mind as they’re footing the bill :) Just the other day, I acted like a doddery old lady and kept them hanging about for a good ten minutes, pretending to fetch some info. They said I’d been in an accident and mentioned something about TPS, but then called back 5 minutes later. I told them I’d nicked a car and smashed into a police vehicle, and they just hung up. Got about six calls from some Dave bloke from Liverpool and his mates. Quite funny how they all sound like they’ve got an Asian accent. I just blocked the number and when I’m free at work, I ring them back - it goes right through. Then I either a) mess with them or b) go along with it and say I’ve been in a crash with a car with the reg F4C K0FF and I drive a Hummer with the plate P155 0FF. They couldn’t find it on their end.
