This number will cost you! I’ve got unlimited calls so it’s definitely not your usual number. Don’t ring it back. Maybe the fee was small but you should only call numbers you know or are waiting on. If it’s something really urgent, they’d leave a voicemail anyway.

like with most numbers that ring me out of nowhere, i just hit "answer" on my phone then leave it alone until the caller loses interest and drops the call. usually they hang up pretty quick, about 10 seconds or so. but this time it was a bloke with a northern accent who kept going, saying “hello” a few times before going on about some finance stuff, then he finally gave up after 37 seconds. i'd honestly recommend doing this if you get these scam calls. it won’t stop them completely but just think how annoyed you’re making them, haha!

Avoid calling 07937933922 back, coz if you do, they charge you for forwarding the call but no one actually answers. When they do ring you, they just stay silent and then drop the call. Pretty frustrating!

Had some bloke ring asking for Mrs Sanderson, which aint me. He kept banging on about if my energy supplier was British Gas. The guy, 'Tim', was proper rude, wouldn't let me say a thing when I asked where he got my number from or what was he ringing about. I tried calling the number back but it just goes straight to an O2 voicemail. I work with hosted phone systems, so I'm guessing this number is just a cover. They’re using this caller ID to make the calls.

They were chatting about debts, mentionin writting em off. Claimed they was with the citizens advice bureau down in birmingham, but wouldnt confirm it properly. I called them back and got an answer machine with a message for someone named sarah. Has anyone else had calls from a debt recovery company recently?

Got a call from someone saying I was on a prepayment meter. I told them I wasn’t, that I do direct debit payments. They said sorry and promised to remove me from their calls. The person was quite polite but it was an unsolicited call nonetheless.

Had 13 missed calls in like 20 mins, getting proper annoyed now. I’ve only just been discharged from hospital after some serious surgery and I need time to heal. Told them right away when they first called to remove me from their list or I’d report them to Ofcom, yet here we are with 13 missed calls again in 20 mins. Absolute muppets.

Some lady called asking for 'Mrs Lewis' (which isn’t me) and when I told her she had the wrong number, she went on asking if I was still using a prepay meter with British Gas (I’m not on a meter and BG isn’t my supplier). She kept up her guessing game, saying she was from some service switching company, until I just ended the call. Honestly, if you’re gonna cold call folks, at least try to get something right about them, yeah?!!!

Think it was someone from USwitch - not too sure tho - you'd expect them to ring from a landline, not a mobile right? Got a call yesterday (06/10/15) and told them I wasn't interested, but the agent was really persistent and tried to keep me talking, so I just hung up. Now they've called again today (07/10/15).
