Got a call from some guy from Best Finance, said I owed money or something. I told him he must be mistaken and to get my info from their records. After that, he started swearing at me, saying “just be a f###### lady and hang up, you b######”. Honestly, such awful service. BLOCKED him straight away.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming I owed some debts. I mean, I’m pretty sure I’d be aware if I actually did! It was a bit unsettling since he already had my name. Definitely a scam trying to fish out personal info about your money matters, if you ask me. I’d tell anyone to just block this number. Normally, I wouldn’t pick up unknown callers, but now I’ll make sure not to ever again! Watch out, folks!

I got a call from this number claiming to be Citizens Advice, which seemed dodgy right away. They actually knew my name, which freaked me out a bit, then started talking about some debt. When I politely declined, the person just hung up on me. The call came from a mobile number, so I didn’t even hesitate to pick up at first, but won’t be so quick next time with unknown mobiles ringing me. I've already blocked the number now. Someone called me saying their name was Anda Manchesteris and claimed they were doing a credit check about some unsecured debts I supposedly had. I told the person I actually work as a debt counsellor, and weirdly enough, they just ended the call right away!

re 07935698494, on 20th October 2017, someone tried calling me from 078999666495. I didn’t pick up though. I got this number from a seller on Ebay - it's a Lebara SIM card I hardly ever use. The seller on Ebay was clearly dodgy. They kept mentioning stuff about PPI, child maintenance, and robinsonway or something like that. Honestly, it’s a shame UK law doesn’t treat this kind of thing as illegal yet.

Got a call from a guy who said he was from the C.A.B, an Asian fella who knew my name and started talking about my debts. When he asked how much I owed, I told him £4.2 million. Then he wanted to know what I was paying each month - I said about £100,000. He told me if I sent him £200,000 to his bank, he’d knock off £2 million off my debts. Kept calling me a millionaire and said he wanted to help me spend more cash. Gave me a name, a postcode, and a bank account to pay into. Kept ringing me after that.

Got a call from a bloke with a thick accent saying he was from some Debt Relief lot. He reckoned I owed money and was only paying the bare minimum. Said he got my info from the government or something. I told him nobody’s allowed to share my details and I'd sue if they did. Then he threatened to sue me over debts I don’t even have! Told him to take my name off their list, but he just went on about how I’m in trouble and need his help. I said I’m done with this chat and just hung up.

No sooner had I hung up, he phoned straight back, asking why I wasn’t keen! I got pretty annoyed and yelled, “Who does he think he is, ringing back like that?!” He then abruptly ended the call - maybe he didn’t fancy dealing with an angry woman? Definitely a SCAM!

Honestly, after going through some of these comments, I’m shocked by how bold some of these calls are. I got a call from an Asian guy claiming he was with UK advice, saying he works for the government, and that he could help sort out my debts. He asked if I owned a house, but I told him I wasn’t happy giving out info to a random number on my phone, especially when I don’t even know who he is. Seriously, watch out for this kind of scam.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with a credit investigation company, saying I owed some money. When I told him he was breaking Data Protection laws, he snapped back like I had no right to correct him. I asked for his supervisor, and he just said he was the manager. Then he started reading out my address and threatened to send the police round and take legal steps. Just got a call from 07935 698494 claiming to be from the Consumer Credit Advice Bureau. Problem is, that company in Bolton hasn’t been around since 2012. Definitely looks like a scam to me. Best thing to do is hang up straight away, jot down the number, report it to your phone company and then block them. Don’t fall for it!

Got a call from this number, said they were gonna have someone come to my place at 6 tonight. Proper scary stuff.

Got a call from someone saying they were with the Citizens Advice Bureau, telling me I owed money. When I asked why CAB would be using a mobile number to call, he got all defensive and asked why I was wasting his time. I then requested his full name and which branch he was ringing from, and he just said “Mike”. When I pressed him more about it, he quickly said goodbye and ended the call. Watch out for this one, it felt dodgy.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a credit checking team, but when I asked some questions, they just cut me off. Feels like they were trying to pull some dodgy scam. I've blocked the number now, no way I'm dealing with that again.

This bloke called me claiming he was from the police saying I owed parking fines and then asked for my bank info. I told him to get lost and he just hung up.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who already knew my name. She claimed she was from Citizens Advice and said I owed debts (which just isn’t true). Then she started asking how much debt I supposedly had. When I questioned her about it, she abruptly hung up.

I got a call from this number and the bloke said he was ringing from Citizens Advice. I told him I’ve never even been there, so there’s no way he could be from them. He kept saying I misunderstood or something. I just kept saying he wasn’t from Citizens Advice and after a bit, he gave up and hung up.

For weeks now, I’ve been getting calls from the same bloke with an Asian accent saying I owe money. The number keeps popping up nonstop. When I tried calling back, it just disconnects straight away. Today I actually picked up, and he told me I was in debt. As soon as I said I wasn’t, he just hung up on me. Definitely dodgy. Best to ignore and block the number!

So I answered the phone and asked this bloke what the call was about, and if he wanted, he could just leave a message. Instead of being polite, he told me to "put the phone down, id##t". Well, you can guess exactly what I said back to him!!!

Got a call on my kid’s phone from this number earlier. The guy on the line had a funny accent and said he was from the Citizens Advice Bureau, offering help with my debts. I told him he’d reached a teenager’s phone, so no chance of any debts here, and told him to buzz off. Blocked the number straight away!

Got a call about some UK Gov Debt Recovery thing, but the woman was talking so quickly I had to ask her to say the company’s name like 3 times. When I asked how she got my phone number, she just babbled some other company name and then just cut me off. Proper rude! Honestly, don’t even pick up. Just block it as soon as you see it.
