There’s this Asian guy who's really dangerous and abusive, using lies to scam innocent folks out of their money. Honestly, he should be caught and put behind bars for all the trouble he’s causing.

So this bloke rings me up out of nowhere, asking for my credit card info. I was like, "GET LOST, YOU SCAMMER!" Then, about half an hour later, my phone just died and wouldn’t switch back on. Seriously, watch out for this kind of scam, don’t get caught out!

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from the Citizens Advice Bureau, sounded just like all the other scams. He said his name was Derek, so I asked, “You’re not really Derek, are you?” Then he lost it, shouting that he was Derek and that he’d been sent over from India, calling me all sorts of names. I just laughed and he slammed the phone down. Proper nasty scammer. Blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone with a heavy Asian accent saying they were from the Citizens Advice Bureau, wanting to discuss some debt issues. When I asked for the office address, he said "31 Crescent Road, Manchester". Then I asked for the postcode, he just said it started with a 'C', but when I pressed for the full code, the line went dead. Honestly, he was really hard to follow and seemed like a total scam. Have blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from an Asian guy claiming I might be able to file a claim after an accident. He asked when the accident took place, and I reckoned, just to throw him off, to say about 25 years ago. After that, there was nothing but quiet - he simply disconnected. Didn’t hesitate to block the number right after. That was the end of his little scam attempt.

Some dodgy bloke rang my mum tryin' to con her. When I grabbed the phone, he just started shouting loads of rude stuff and got pretty hostile. Got a call on my own mobile from some bloke saying he was from Citizen’s Advice and somehow he knew my first name. I didn’t give anything away and asked what the call was about. He said it was about my “debts.” I wasn’t having it and asked where on earth he’d got my number from. He cut me off sharpish after that. Make sure you block 07935 698492 if it rings you. Got a call on my mobile from a woman who said she was with some sort of credit investigation team, claiming I owed money. I told her straight up that I don’t have any credit cards, loans, or debts at all. Right after I said that, she just cut me off and ended the call.

Some bloke with an Asian accent rang up pretending to be from TalkTalk tech support, asking for my account info. I didn’t hold back and told him straight he was a scammer and to "buzz off." He cut the call pretty sharpish after that. The number he used was ( 07905891848). Classic trick to get hold of private details. Feels like either someone inside TalkTalk is leaking info or using it themselves to try and nick account info from unsuspecting or vulnerable folks.

I usually don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers, but this one looked close to a number I was waiting for. So I answered, and some bloke with an Indian accent said they had ‘discovered’ that I owed money I hadn’t secured against anything. I told him that was rubbish and he lost it, snapping, “Don’t bloody interrupt me.” I just hung up and blocked him straight away. Honestly, I can’t see how that kind of attitude works for him at all.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who said his name was Jed. He was going on about my unsecured debts and some government deal that would cover 40% of it for me. I asked if he was authorised by the FSA to offer financial advice and requested his registration number. When he couldn’t provide that, I told him sounded like a scammer and he just cut the call. Seems like a new trend - used to be folks pretending to be the Microsoft tech team with server issues, then last year it was BT tech support claiming problems with routers. Not sure what the next gimmick will be!

Got a call about 1:25pm on 8th Feb 2018 from a bloke with an Asian accent. He was trying to trick me into giving personal money info, saying I was involved in some fraud case he was looking into. I clocked it was from a mobile and asked him which company he was with. He struggled to answer, and when I mentioned it was probably a dodgy scam since real firms wouldn’t call from mobiles, he started swearing then just cut off the phone.

I saw this number ring me earlier, but luckily I've got this screen app on my phone that instantly flagged it as spam, so I blocked it straight away. Came here to see if anyone else had problems with it. Honestly, if this number pops up on your phone, just ignore it and block it ASAP. If your phone doesn’t have a blocking feature, I’d recommend getting an app that blocks unknown calls. And if you’re rocking an old-school phone without apps, maybe just answer and shout really loudly till they hang up - that should scare them off for good.

I got a call from someone saying they were part of "Citizens Advice" and talking about some unpaid unsecured debts. When I asked them how they even had my phone number, they said it came from "your mother-in-law's place," which really confused them when I told them she passed away three years back.

Like lots of others, it was that Indian bloke again. I was bracing myself for his call, and sure enough, he rang me. Then he went and blew this ridiculously loud whistle into the phone. Haven't got any calls from him after that, thankfully.

Got one of those calls again, same nonsense as usual. This time the bloke threatened to show up at my place, said I had to be home or he'd ring the cops. I just told him “Go ahead and call the police then.” He got really aggressive, but as soon as I asked him where he worked, he just ended the call. Number’s blocked now.

I've had this guy from India ring me a few times, saying the usual stuff, then just cutting off when I didn't hand over any details and threw a few questions his way. I messaged him saying I'd be passing his number to the cops for fraud checks. Tried calling him back a bunch of times but he never picked up. Watch out, he's definitely up to no good.

So this number rang me and for some reason I actually picked up, which I normally never do. When I said hello, there was nothing but silence on the other end, so I just ended the call. Then like an hour later, the same number tried me again. I didn’t bother answering the second call and have since blocked it. Don’t know what the deal was with that silence.

Got a call from a guy named George, sounded Asian. Same old story really. When he asked for my bank details, I said I use this new place, the Noddy Bank of Great Britain or summat. Then when he wanted my card number, I just gave him the number from my fridge-freezer. He actually said thanks and that no one would turn up at my door or do anything to me. I told him he was a complete mug and to stop trying to con people. He told me to f*** off. Just blocked the number after that.

She started off by knowing my name, so I asked who exactly was on the line and she told me I had some outstanding debts. I told her no that wasn’t right... next thing I know, she just hung up on me!! What a moron!!

Got a call from some bloke claiming he was with citizens advice. When I asked what it was about, he said I owed money on credit cards and loans or something like that. I told him I don’t have any debts and told him to put me on their no call list. Then he just cut me off. Definitely blocking that number!

A guy with an Asian accent called me but I never caught his name. He claimed to be from Citizens Advice. I cut him off straight away and told him Citizens Advice is a great charity with properly trained staff who volunteer their time, so there’s no chance they’d ring me out of the blue about debts. I told him to take my number off his list and not to bother calling again.

Today I got two calls from some bloke in India claiming to be from the Credit Investigations dept. I just hung up on him both times and put the number on block. Honestly, these kinds of places are just a nuisance and really shouldn’t be allowed to keep bothering people like this.

Had a bloke on the phone claiming he worked for the Credit Investigation Department linked to the FCA. The bit about being 'under the FCA' made me suspicious, so I decided to throw some questions his way rather than just listening to what he wanted. He said his firm was in Glasgow but couldn’t give me a proper address or even a contact number. As soon as I pressed for more info, he just hung up. Total scam if you ask me. I can’t believe people still get caught out by this nonsense nowadays - but I suppose they must do, since these calls never seem to stop.

Some bloke calling himself Asian Steve rang me up about my unsecured debts. He wanted to know the amount I owe, so I turned it around and asked how he already knows I've got debts if he doesn't have any details! He was all like he just knows I have unsecured debts but nothing else. I ended up chatting nonsense for about 15 minutes, just messing about, then passed the phone to my mate who's like my 'advisor' because I was cracking up. Honestly, rather than getting angry at these calls, just mess with the caller’s time. I had a laugh wasting his!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying I owed money on some credit cards. He wanted to collect my info to sort it out. I asked why he was calling me, and he said he was from the credit finance team. I asked what right he had to get involved, and he said if I’m not interested in his help, I could just hang up. So I just said cheers and ended the call.

Since the start of February, my phone’s been buzzing nonstop, mostly I keep it on silent so I hardly notice. Just this morning it flashed and I saw the number, didn’t answer ’cause I never pick up unknown callers. So this guy with an Asian accent rings me up, asks if he’s talking to me, and then launches into it, all pushy like, saying I owe money and that he’s from some place called “The Debt Collection Agency.” He was dead serious about me either taking a loan from him or settling this supposed debt. I flat out told him I don’t owe a thing and gave him a few choice words before slamming down the phone.
